Hello, my name is Ali Lodge and I am a British artist specialising in illustration for children. My website provides an opportunity to view a selection of my artwork and books for children, and to find out a bit more about me! I am really pleased to have completed my Masters Degree in Illustration for Children, which I was awarded in February 2007 from the University of Wales. Studying towards my Masters Degree gave me the opportunity to explore my work outside the picture book format. My research was based on Creative Learning and Helping Children to Learn to Read. For my final degree show, I created an exhibition especially for children and parents, designed to promote the different literacy-rich environments in which parents can read with their children and develop their early literacy skills.
