My Current work, December 2010

Since La Rochelle, I have been working on the material made at the city, unravelling the series of events that took place between the two of us and the new friends made at the residensy. The work is being put togeter at the moment and will be on show in the city of La Rochelle in 2010, I am excited by the work as it feels lost to me yet resounding of a feeling of truths and events. A book will accompany the film and print work as part of the collaboration.

My current and ongoing investigation of where I am from, and the people that helped shape my practise and investigation is ongoing. An accompanying picture made during a period in the summer is in the website.

A precious gift from a close friend and gifts from great Institutions, I hope will begin another storey and help with so many others.

New Studio at the Powerhub Feb 2010

The Powerhub in maidstone is my new studio space, it gives me space now to have a very large darkroom, to make work with all my various processes. I am now able to take portrait commisions as well as make work which interests me. The Dakvan is now extended from a place to go out and take pictures to somewhere, where i can print the images i make.

The powerhub was once the old tilling stevens bus factory where the petrol electric buses were once made around the first world war, my grandfather remembers working here as a boy.
